I am opening my beginner’s yoga course up, making it a regular-rolling, Monday evening, 6-7pm class at The Well in Willen Starting Monday 3rd October. This course is designed as an eight week package and will become a rolling course every eight weeks. It is ‘not’ a regular style Anusara Influenced class. Specifically, we will look at classical postures in the level one syllabus of Anusara yoga, attention will be paid to basic breathing techniques and three out of the five Universal Principles of Alignment will be taught:Open to Grace, Muscular Energy and Organic Energy. Instruction in meditation and relaxation techniques will also be given.

To name a few of the many benefits of yoga: improvements in posture and breathing, increased tone, strength and flexibility, a greater ability to cope with stress and a feeling of calm, Improved confidence and overall fitness. This course creates a strong and safe foundation from which you can then enjoy any of my other drop-in classes. Furthermore, being introduced to yoga through a short course with the same friendly people each week is a beautiful way to begin your yoga journey.
