A chakra is an energy centre of activity, it generates, assimilates and expresses a life force energy, yogis term this as prana. The chakra system is a map of our most subtle energy body demonstrating how our mind, emotions and body come together as an expression of who we are individually and how we interact with our world around us. Physiologically the chakras correspond most directly with our endocrine system, our hormonal system. They too, represent the evolution and transformation of our human psyche and our emotional, spiritual development.

There are millions of nadis (energy centres) and meridians identified throughout eastern practices, as well as western practices, when these are recognised and come together true healing can begin. The chakras are refined into seven hubs of energy. Through this system we can then begin to understand where different emotions are said to live in our body and to see how different addictions may manifest in the world and our lives.

This workshop will look at each chakra, its excessive and deficient characteristics, addictions correlated to that centre and a yoga sequence to embody the consciousness within, clearing energetic pathways. There will also be essential oils recommended for use as we practice, and a meditation to marinade that wisdom.

You will have:
A deeper understanding of your body, where emotions live, habits and addictions seeked and a knowing of chakras that are calling for greater balance and love.
You will feel:
More grounded and centred with energy flowing well and possibly a little lighter. Your physical and subtle body will experience a greater depth of harmony and inner peace.
